WHO WE ARE

This is our story

Open Road Prophets was created as an organisation after our founder answered a call to help run a series of events for Radiant Homa Bay, a mission organisation in Homa Bay County, Kenya.

What began as a short-term commitment quickly became something much deeper. Initially helping on the project with the whole family for two weeks, and during that time, they fell in love with Kenya — its beauty, its resilience, and most importantly, its people.

They also saw the immense challenges that many communities face and realised they were in a position to help make a difference. From those first encounters, Open Road Prophets was born.

Small changes with big difference

Open Road Prophet’s foundation is built on partnership, compassion, and a shared vision for sustainable change. We work closely with local churches, which serve as the beating heart of many Kenyan communities. These churches are often the centre of both spiritual and practical life — leading aid, support, and outreach efforts for those in need.

By supporting and strengthening these local networks, we help ensure that resources and care reach the people who need them most.

What started as a family mission has grown into a thriving series of projects that far exceed anything we originally imagined. Today, Open Road Prophets operates across three counties in Kenya, with the aim of expanding its reach and impact year by year.

Our work now includes supporting prison ministries, empowering local schools, and working alongside the boda boda motorcycle community — a vital part of Kenya's social and economic fabric.

Through every partnership and every project, our mission remains the same: to walk alongside the people of Kenya, sharing hope, opportunity, and faith, one road at a time.
